Celebrating Jim Magee: A Retirement Announcement After 25 Years of Distinguished Service and Leadership

Today, Facility Commissioning Group announces the retirement of one of our most esteemed colleagues, Jim Magee, after a remarkable 25 years of service and leadership. Jim has been a cornerstone of FCG, playing a pivotal role in the commissioning of facilities, which is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and innovative spirit.

When Facility Commissioning Group was founded in 1998, Jim brought with him a wealth of knowledge and an unyielding commitment to excellence. Over the years, his contributions have not only shaped the landscape of our company but have also set industry standards. He has been instrumental in creating, writing, and publishing the process documents that have become the road map for the commissioning industry.  His work ethic and leadership have inspired a generation of engineers and professionals within our ranks.

As he pursues other endeavors, we celebrate his accomplishments, including successfully commissioning over 500 projects, leading our environmental sustainability initiatives, and mentoring countless commissioning professionals who now hold his teachings as the gold standard.

While we will miss Jim’s leadership and camaraderie, we are excited for him as he embarks on this new chapter. We look forward to honoring Jim’s legacy as he retires on December 29, 2023, reflecting on his invaluable contributions and wishing him all the joy and relaxation retirement can offer.
